Orange Earns 5 Stars on 2026 State Report Card

The Orange City School District has earned a 5-Star Overall District Rating on the 2026 State Report Card issued by the Ohio Department of Education and Workforce. Also, Moreland Hills Elementary School, Brady Middle School, and Orange High School all earned individual 5-Star Overall School Ratings. 

In addition to top district and building level marks, Orange City School District placed among the highest-performing educational systems, ranking 5th in Cuyahoga County and 21st in Ohio on the State Report Card’s Performance Index percentages. 

This reflects the unified effort and continuous commitment of the entire Orange Schools community including students, teachers, support staff, families, administrators, and the Board of Education.
 

Quality Profile Showcases Student Learning

In the 2026 Quality Profile, you will find academics, arts, athletics, extracurriculars, student support, community support, and financial information that all showcase the value of an Orange Schools education and our commitment to excellence in learning, leading, and making a difference. The success of the Orange Schools relies on the collaboration between students, families, teachers, support staff, administrators, the Board of Education, and the entire community.

Students Inducted into National Honor Society

A total of 55 Orange High School students were recently inducted into the prestigious National Honor Society. The ceremony was hosted by NHS President Elliott Wright, who led the new inductees in the reciting of the NHS Pledge, along with Co-Vice Presidents Cydney Feinberg and Anuja Patel, Secretary Cooper Kardamis, and Treasurer Max Klisovic, who all lit candles representing the various NHS pillars.

Students Named National Merit Scholarship Semifinalists

Orange High School seniors Jonah Wilson and Seamus Buelow have been named Semifinalists in the annual National Merit Scholarship Program. They are among approximately 16,000 students nationwide selected for this prestigious honor, placing them in the top one percent of high school seniors across the country.

College Board National Recognition Program Honors OHS Students

Orange City School District is proud to announce that 39 Orange High School students have been honored through the College Board National Recognition Program for their exceptional academic achievements. Students earned this prestigious distinction by maintaining a GPA of 3.5 or higher and demonstrating an outstanding performance on the PSAT/NMSQT® and/or AP® Exams. The recognition is a significant accomplishment that students can include on college and scholarship applications, helping them stand out as they pursue their postsecondary goals.
 

Congratulations 2026 Hall of Famers!

The 2026 Orange Alumni Association Hall of Fame class will be officially inducted at a ceremony on Saturday, September 26 in the Orange High School Auditorium at 11 a.m.  Doors will open at 10:30 a.m. The ceremony will feature new Hall of Fame inductee Jordan Brown '12 singing "The National Anthem" along with performances by the OHS Chamber Orchestra and the OHS Choir. List of Inductees.

Following the ceremony, which is free and open to all, the Alumni Association will dedicate the new Orange Schools historical kiosk and seal the time capsule for 50 years. Tours will be offered by OHS students and a reservation-only lunch will be held in the Commons beginning around 1 p.m. Tickets for the lunch must be purchased no later than September 17.  Visit the Alumni Association website.
