Collections & Drives
Throughout the school year, Orange Elementary & Middle School PTA sponsors various collection drives and programs. These programs provide much needed assistance to local families in our community and in surrounding areas.

MITTEN DRIVE 2026
Collection Week: November 2-6 2026
The PTA is collecting winter outerwear to help those in need. This is a wonderful opportunity for all OIP & MHS students and their families to support our community during the Thanksgiving season. We encourage families to include children in this charitable project. Let them help clean out the closets or do the shopping!
Our collection will reach many families within our community.
Please help by donating the following:
- Winter hats, mittens/gloves in all sizes (new or clean/gently used)
- Winter coats (new or clean/gently used)*
- Snow pants in all sizes (new or clean/gently used)
- New socks
Donations will be accepted during the week of November 2 – 6
Donations can be dropped off all week in the bin at the OIP & MHS offices.
*Youth size coats will be donated to local families via Coats for Kids.
