Welcome Back Chris Switzer to Orange Athletics

As we welcome a familiar face to a new role as the Assistant Athletic Director, we are pleased to announce the return of Chris Switzer, who will step into a key leadership role overseeing youth travel and middle school athletic programs. 

Previously, as the former Sports Coordinator for Orange Community Education & Recreation (OCER), Switzer oversaw the coordination of all youth recreation and competitive travel sports.  He will now focus solely on OCER competitive travel sports, grades 3-8 as well as middle school sports for grades 7 and 8. In this shared role between OCER and the Orange Schools, he will work closely with new Orange Athletic Director Annie McGhee to build a pathway from youth recreation to interscholastic sports.

"His extensive experience, deep knowledge of youth athletics, and strong familiarity with both Orange Schools and OCER make him an ideal fit to lead these programs forward. His unique familiarity with the Orange community ensures a smooth transition as he steps in to enhance sports programming and engagement for student-athletes.”
