Orange High School Students: 13 Years Together!

DAZZLE Awards: Best Student Orchestra Nomination

The Orange High School Pit Orchestra was nominated once again for the Playhouse Square Dazzle Awards. This marks the orchestra's eighth nomination for "Best Student Orchestra". Only 11 school programs were selected as nominees in this category. The orchestra performed in the OHS production of Disney's "High School Musical".
 

Ten OHS Students Inducted into National Technical Honor Society

Ten Orange High School students were inducted into the Excel TECC: National Technical Honor Society on Thursday, April 23, 2026. This recognition reflects their hard work, dedication, and commitment to excellence. NTHS Students
 

OHS Music Earns State Superior Ratings

The Orange City School District is proud to announce outstanding achievements by the Orange High School music program at the Ohio Music Education Association (OMEA) Large Group State Performance held last month. The OHS Wind Ensemble earned a Superior rating in Class A competition for the 5th consecutive year. The OHS Symphonic Band received a Superior rating in Class C competition for the 2nd consecutive year. They join the OHS Orchestra who earlier this year earned a Superior rating at the state level for the 2nd consecutive year.
 
In addition, OHS director of bands Brandon DuVall was recently elected to statewide leadership within the OMEA. Beginning July 1, 2026, he will serve as President-Elect for two years, followed by a two-year term as President and a subsequent two-year term as Past President.
