Brady Students Receive Regional Science Day Recognition

Four Brady Middle School students represented their school with distinction at the recent Regional Science Day held at Kent State University. Eighth grade partners Aidan Tong and Mark Khramoy earned a Superior rating for their project "Making Waves," earning them an invitation to compete at the State Science Day in May. Seventh grade partners Anaya Desai and Lily Xiong earned an Excellent rating and impressed judges with their project "Pitch Perfect." Notably, this marked Desai and Xiong’s first time competing.

Brady Student Selected in Stop the Hate Program

Brady Middle School 7th grader Anna Kellermann was recently selected as one of only five student finalists in the annual “Stop the Hate” Awards for middle school poetry. She wrote the poem, “Words”, as part of her honors language arts requirement. She decided to participate in the Maltz Museum’s Stop the Hate competition, open to all students in and around Northeast Ohio. Her poem focuses on culture and respect.

Staying Safe on the Road

On Friday 4/17 during lunch periods, OHS students will have the opportunity to participate in the SAY Staying Safe on the Road event sponsored by the PTA Health and Safety Committee. It is aimed at promoting awareness of the dangers of driving while under the influence of alcohol. Please talk with your child about this event and encourage them to attend.
