Orange Earns Six NSPRA Communications Awards

The Orange City School District Communications Team of Lou DeVincentis and Staci Adelman Vincent (OHS '83) has been recently honored with six national awards from the National School Public Relations Association (NSPRA) as part of the 2026 Publication and Digital Media Excellence Awards. The team was recognized for its outstanding contributions to education communications, digital media storytelling, and professional print design.
Demonstrating high-tier distinction across multiple communication mediums, the Orange Schools communications team captured a diverse range of honors, including a top-tier Award of Excellence, three Awards of Merit, and two Honorable Mentions. These accolades spotlight the district’s continuous commitment to storytelling that connects the school community with students, staff, and families.
Leading the district's accolades is the Award of Excellence, which was presented for the production and design of the 2025-26 OCSD Wall Calendar. This top honor reflects the highest professional standards in school publications layout and community utility. In addition, the District earned three separate Awards of Merit for its comprehensive Quality Profile publication, a community-focused photograph titled "My Hero", and an engaging video project titled "Lettuce Create!" Rounding out the national achievements, Orange Schools received two Honorable Mentions. These distinctions went to a cleverly themed science classroom photograph titled "This Girl is On Fire--Periodically!", and a strategic, informational video production titled "Orange Inclusive Preschool - Did You Know".
The NSPRA Publication and Digital Media Excellence Awards are judged annually by a panel of seasoned public relations professionals. Entries are evaluated on creative design, writing clarity, content quality, visual composition, and their overarching contribution to enhancing the strategic goals of the school district.
