Orange Recognized at OHSPRA Spring Conference Achievement Awards

The Orange City School District Communications Team of Lou DeVincentis and Staci Adelman Vincent (OHS '83) was honored at the Ohio School Public Relations Association (OHSPRA) Spring Conference Achievement Awards Ceremony on April 23 in Columbus, Ohio.
The video “Lettuce Create,” produced by Vincent, earned a Mark of Distinction Award. The piece highlights the Orange story through the hands-on learning and real-world skill development taking place in Christine Noy’s Transition Program at Orange High School. Vincent also received two honors in the highly competitive photography category: a Mark of Distinction for “This Girl is on Fire, Period(ically)” and a Mark of Excellence for “You Raise Me Up.”
The district’s 2025 Orange Schools Quality Profile earned a Mark of Excellence Award. This annual publication, shared with the community, highlights academics, arts, athletics, extracurriculars, student and community support, and financial stewardship that showcase the value of an Orange Schools education and its commitment to excellence.
OHSPRA recognized Vincent with a 2026 Power PRo Award (her fifth) for meeting the criteria and collaborating with fellow school communicators on the “Public Schools ARE a Choice” video campaign. The project, currently in production, will highlight support for Ohio public schools.
The OHSPRA awards program annually recognizes outstanding achievement in school public relations. Entries are evaluated by communication professionals based on criteria including research, planning, execution, evaluation, results, and creativity.
