Brady Students Receive Regional Science Day Recognition

Four Brady Middle School students represented their school with distinction at the recent Regional Science Day held at Kent State University. Eighth grade partners Aidan Tong and Mark Khramoy earned a Superior rating for their project "Making Waves," earning them an invitation to compete at the State Science Day at the OSU Covelli Center on May 16, 2026. Seventh grade partners Anaya Desai and Lily Xiong (pictured here, left to right) earned an Excellent rating and impressed judges with their project "Pitch Perfect," receiving strong scores and encouraging feedback. Notably, this marked Desai and Xiong’s first time competing.
The 2026 Regional Science Day at Kent State University featured more than 450 students from 10 Northeast Ohio counties showcasing STEM projects. The event included projects on artificial intelligence, cancer research, and environmental science, with top participants advancing to the State Science Day in May.
