For the second year in a row, the Orange High School Orchestra under the direction of Mrs. Rebecca Ellsworth earned a Superior (I) Rating at the Ohio Music Education Association (OMEA) State Contest held in February. The talented student musicians earned this highest rating from all three judges in Class B and from the judge who evaluated the sight-reading portion of the contest. For that evaluation, the orchestra performed a piece of music the students had never seen prior to the contest.
