3 Orange Seniors Named National Merit Scholarship Finalists!

Orange High School seniors Branden Wang, Bill Wang, and Ben Wei have been recently named 2025 National Merit Scholarship Finalists. Approximately 1.5 million juniors across the country took the Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Corporation Qualifying Test last year. The highest-scoring participants in each state, representing less than one percent of the nation’s high school seniors, were named Semi-Finalists and then had an opportunity to continue in the competition. From the Semi-Finalist group, only 15,000 students nationwide met the very high standards to advance to the Finalist level of the competition including these three OHS seniors.
