THE MORELAND HILLS HISTORICAL SOCIETY
The community of "Orange" originally included Pepper Pike, Moreland Hills and today's Orange Village. Our Historical Society welcomes members and input from all communities. Our principal focus is the early life of our 20th President, James Abram Garfield. We welcome visitors to Garfield's 1830's replica log cabin Saturdays, June through September from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Group tours can be scheduled and self-guided walks to the birth site can be enjoyed anytime during daylight hours. MORELAND HILLS WOMEN'S COMMITTEE
Founded in 1952, this committee consists of women who work together toward the betterment of the community. The group raises funds through spring and fall fundraiser's. Funds are donated to local charities. Meetings are the second Monday of the month at the Village Hall. JEWISH FAMILY SERVICE ASSOCIATION
JFSA is a full service mental health agency offering individual, couple, family and group counseling for children and adults. Specialized services are also available to help with chemical dependency, family violence, divorce, planning for the needs of the elderly, the mentally disabled and those with mental retardation and developmental disabilities. A divorce mediation service is available to help couples without costly litigation. Our Career Center offers career search services and, through a training and placement program (TAPP), provides vocational services for people with disabilities. Contact:  216-292-3999.

LANDER CIRCLE KIWANIS CLUB
The Kiwanis Club, a community service organization, benefits many school and community projects. Working with students through the Builder's Clubs on the Orange Campus, and sponsoring Orange Schools Teacher-of -the-Year awards and Kiwanis Student of the Month honors. Funds are raised through the Annual Rummage Sale in July on the Orange campus. Meetings are 1st/3rd Mondays, 6:30 p.m., Garfield Memorial Church. Officers change in October. New members welcome. SENIOR CENTER ADVISORY COUNCIL
The Senior Adult Advisory Council works in an advisory capacity with the Coordinator of the Senior Center. Meetings are the 4th Wednesday of the month at 10 a.m. at the Senior Center and are open to all senior center members. For more information, call the Senior Center at 216-831-8601 X 5700. 

PEPPER PIKE CIVIC LEAGUE
The Civic League is a nonpartisan fact-finding group whose objectives are to collect and disseminate information relative to local and state government and to induce citizens to take an active interest in affairs of government. BOY SCOUTS OF AMERICA-TROOP 309
It is the mission of the Boy Scouts to serve others by helping to instill values in young people, prepare them to make ethical choices during their lifetime and help them achieve their full potential. The values are based on those found in the Boy Scout Oath and Law. Meetings are Monday evenings 7-8:30 p.m. at Garfield Memorial Church. For more information, call Bill Warren: 216-288-8863.

GIRL SCOUTS
The Girl Scouts mission is to provide a value-based program for girls to help them become confident, resourceful, responsible young women. Emphasis is in five areas: the world of people, the world of well being, today and tomorrow, world of the arts, and world of the outdoors. Meetings are biweekly or as determined. VALLEY Y PRINCESSES & GUIDES
Princesses (Dads and daughters) and Guides (Dads and sons) emphasize the vital role fathers play in the growth and development of their children. For information contact the Valley YMCA Branch at 216-663-7522.

BEECH BROOK
Beech Brook is a multi-service treatment center for emotionally disturbed and at-risk children and their families. Services include day treatment for children ages 5-13, foster care, special needs adoption, outpatient mental health programs, family preservation, and family life support and education programs. ORANGE BRANCH LIBRARY
Cuyahoga County Public Library is at the center of community life by providing an environment where reading, lifelong learning and civic engagement thrive. The Orange Branch provides direct library services and resources to the communities of Orange, Pepper Pike, Moreland Hills, Hunting Valley, and Woodmere.

In addition to books, magazines, audio-visual materials, and online resources, the library offers engaging programs for children, teens, adults, and families including book discussion groups and story times. Many of these programs are made possible by the generous support of the Friends of the Orange Branch Library. The library provides free Wi-Fi in addition to computers that include internet access and Microsoft Office products. A community meeting room can be reserved by non-commercial groups or individuals for cultural, civic, intellectual, and informal educational purposes. FRIENDS OF THE ORANGE LIBRARY
The Friends promote the development and welfare of the Orange Community Library by making the library's resources and needs known to the community, and by helping to extend and improve the library's services. We provide funds from memberships, gifts, and monthly book sales for the purchase of additional books and materials. Meetings of the Friends Board are held monthly. ORANGE AREA SERVICE COMMITTEE
The Orange Area Service Committee (OASC) directs gifts and services of individuals and community organizations to provide emergency assistance and coordinates programs and assistance for families in the Orange School District. THE HIRAM HOUSE

Established in 1896, the Hiram House hosts day and resident camping. From June through August, the 172-acre camp is the site of summer programs. From September through May, school camping, weekend retreats, and special events are held. The camp is available for climbing wall adventure programs and contracted weekend use by groups during these months. NEW DIRECTIONS
The mission of New Directions is to provide quality life-changing treatment to chemically dependent adolescents and their families who are also dealing with emotional, behavioral and psychiatric problems. We provide a complete continuum of care: assessment, gender specific residential, intensive outpatient, and home-based treatment. For more information, call 216-591-0324 X 211.

WELCOME CLUB
The Chagrin Valley Welcome Club, formerly Welcome Wagon, is celebrating its 52nd year as a nonprofit organization whose main purpose is to help newcomers in the area become acquainted and make new friends. EARLY CHILDHOOD PTO 
This group meets monthly and supports the Early Childhood Program and its staff with volunteer hours and fundraisers. Community Halloween Party, Ice Cream Social, Music Festival, Special Persons Day, Vision Screening and classroom parties are some of the special occasions involving the PTO. ORANGE ARTS CENTER/ORANGE COMMUNITY ARTS COUNCIL
The Orange Community Arts Council is a nonprofit organization dedicated to the promotion in our community of visual and performing arts. The Orange Art Center, established and supported by OCAC, offers a wide range of art classes and workshops seven days a week for all ages, all media and all residents of Northeast Ohio. OCAC sponsors the annual student year in review, a biannual community art show and the Greater Cleveland Art Series, featuring gallery tours, seminars and visits to area cultural institutions. OCAC fundraisers are always well-attended and include the Garden Faire and Barefoot in the Parlor. Membership is open to all.
