Congratulations to OHS senior Rhenna Rotman who has been named the Kiwanis Club of Lander Circle “SENIOR OF THE MONTH” for February 2025. Rhenna’s leadership efforts extend far beyond the clubs she guides and into the community as a mentor and role model.
The Highest Honors student is a member of the National Honor Society and an AP Scholar with Distinction. She also has earned the Ohio and Global Seal of Biliteracy in English and Spanish.
Rhenna, a musician at heart, performs as the Lead Singer and Rhythm Guitarist in the Indie Rock Band, “Grandma’s Boyfriend.” She has also written music-focused articles and was a peer editor for the Orange Outlook newspaper. Rhenna serves as Co-President of the OHS Rock & Roll Club, a group she co-founded two years ago, preparing for and leading group discussions about music. She recently joined the Pit Orchestra and will play the guitar for this year’s OHS musical, “Little Shop of Horrors.”
Rhenna is also a Co-President of Amnesty International where she plans fundraisers for various charities and does collaborative work in her discussions about human rights. She has been a student volunteer with the annual Kiwanis Rummage Sale and volunteers as an assistant to the elderly.
Every school year, the Kiwanis Club of Lander Circle recognizes six seniors for their leadership, integrity, and academic achievements. We thank the Kiwanis Club for its ongoing support and congratulate Rhenna Rotman as the February Senior of the Month!
