Brady 6th Grader Ethan Wins Gold at MathCON

Brady Middle School 6th Grader Ethan Hogan Wins Gold at MathCON FinalsCongratulations Ethan Hogan, a 6th grader from Brady Middle School, on winning a gold medal at the North American MathCON Finals in Chicago.

Ethan earned the gold medal, awarded for second place in his age bracket. Only the National Champion finished above him out of what is assumed to be thousands of 6th-grade competitors.

MathCON is a math competition for students in grades 4 through 12. The competition features two levels: an online qualifying test and an in-person finals event. Approximately 30,000 students participated in the initial online round. The top 628 scorers were invited to the finals in Chicago on May 11.

Ethan's achievement highlights his exceptional math skills and dedication, earning him recognition among some of the brightest young mathematicians in North America.
