Seven Orange High School students were recently given the opportunity to earn a new State of Ohio Governor's Merit Scholarship that is being offered to support Ohio's highest-achieving senior students attending in-state colleges. Based on their academic achievements and eligibility, these OHS students can be awarded up to a $5,000 renewable scholarship for four years if they choose to attend an Ohio college or university. The seven OHS students are (clockwise from left) Anjali Chepyala, Tomas Cakulev, Evelyn Campbell, Joy Utech, Fiona Berns, Mira Batra, and Maya Korland.
