Orange High School junior Benjamin Wei earned a perfect 36 on his ACT. Currently, with a 4.855 cumulative GPA, he is one of the top students in his class. Wei’s score is the rarest of all with just 0.0018% of all test takers earning a perfect ACT score in 2023.
A member of OHS Robotics Team 1787: The Flying Circuits, he is the vice president and lead programmer. He has been part of the team for five years and helped them qualify for the World Championships in 2022. He also pursues piano, participating in classical piano competitions annually. In 2023, he was chosen as a third-place winner in the American Protégé International Piano and Strings Competition. In his free time, he enjoys a broad range of interests and hobbies, including rock climbing, music production, and undertaking programming projects.
