Forty-two Orange High School students were inducted into the National Honor Society on September 6, 2023. Each student inductee is required to maintain at least a 3.75 GPA along with adhering to the tenets of scholarship, service, leadership, and character. The ceremony was hosted by NHS President senior Andie Berlin, who led the new inductees in the reciting of the NHS Pledge, along with Co-Vice Presidents Callyn Carran and Evelyn Campbell, Secretary Maya Korland, and Treasurer Mira Batra, who all lit candles representing each standard. OHS Principal Jamie Hogue spoke to the audience which included family, friends, and staff. The NHS advisors are Mrs. Kelley Mendoza and Mr. Bill Brochak who showcased some of the many service projects the NHS students are involved in throughout the year.
