OHS Thespians Present Into the Woods 3/17, 3/18 at 7pm

Student actors portraying storybook characters walk into a wooded path together.Looking for an adventure with dynamic fairy tale characters who transform you to a different time and place? Join the OHS Thespians as they perform “Into the Woods” at 7pm on March 17th and 18th in the OHS Auditorium.

The characters you know…Little Red Riding Hood and the Wolf, Jack, Cinderella, the Baker and his Wife, the Witch, and so many others pursue their various hopes and dreams as they look for their wishes to be granted. But there can be no happy ending without obstacles along the way. The 20+ cast members, pit orchestra, and stage crew members join forces, like the storybook characters, to bring you the ‘happily ever after.’

“Into the Woods” is based on the book by James Lapine with music and lyrics by Stephen Sondheim. Songs include “Children will Listen,” “Giants in the Sky,” and “No One is Alone.” 

The show is directed by Cameron Zona and Ryan Leflar and produced by Wendy Scott Koeth. The music director is Dalton Phillips, and the pit orchestra is directed by Jake Robinson.
