Marina is a familiar face on the Orange Schools campus as she is involved in a myriad of activities, all while managing to maintain her spot on the Highest Honor Roll (4.0+) throughout her high school career. Head Flag Captain of the OHS Lionettes Drill Team, Marina has devoted four years to the Marching Lion Band, creating and teaching original routines and performing at football games and showcases. Marina also enjoys being a part of the OHS ROX empowerment club for women, now in its third year. She has been a three-year member of the Varsity Women’s Golf Team and a two-year member of the OHS Swim Team.

While not honing her athletic skills, Marina is actively involved in various philanthropic efforts including Friendship Circle, Woofstock, and the Book Buddies program where she mentors children in reading and literacy activities. A two-year member of the National Honor Society, Marina also actively assists with the biannual high school blood drives.

In her spare time, Marina is employed as a food service worker, having worked at Pie-O-Mine & Greens last year and currently at Subway at Landerwood Plaza. Marina plans to attend either Miami University or The Ohio State University this fall where she will major in pre-pharmacy.

Every school year, the Kiwanis Club of Lander Circle recognizes six seniors for their leadership, integrity, and academic achievements. We thank the Kiwanis Club for its ongoing support and congratulate Marina Caporossi as the March 2023 Kiwanis Student of the Month!
