Wolf Named Kiwanis Student of the Month

Graphic of Anna Wolf named Kiwanis Senior of the MonthCongratulations to OHS senior Anna Wolf who has been named the Kiwanis “SENIOR OF THE MONTH” for January 2023!

Anna is involved in a myriad of extracurricular activities, serving as First Chair in the Contemporary Youth Orchestra, Dance Captain of the OHS Lionettes Drill Team and President of the OHS Writing Center, for which she was recognized this fall by PBS Ideastream. Anna helped lead the International Future Problem Solving team to its outstanding first place finish at the Ohio Bowl and third place finish at the Global Finals last summer. The National Merit Semifinalist is also the recipient of the Rensselaer Medal for outstanding achievement in math and science.

Anna employs those skills in her work as an instructor for the Mathnasium Learning Center where she teaches Pre-K thru high school students in basic math up to Precalculus. She has volunteered as a Teaching Assistant at The Temple-Tifereth Israel for the past four years. Anna serves as Secretary of the French Club, performs with the OHS Thespian Troupe, is a participant in the Studio J Academy of Dance, worked with Broadway Buddies’ adaptive theater program, and is a member of the National Honor Society. Anna also plays cello in the after school Chamber Orchestra and serves as First Chair in the OHS Orchestra where she assists in running sectionals and helping others with technique.

Every school year, the Kiwanis Club of Lander Circle recognizes six seniors for their leadership, integrity, and academic achievements. We thank the Kiwanis Club for its ongoing support and congratulate Anna Wolf as the January 2023 Kiwanis Student of the Month!
