Kiwanis Names Sydney Shagrin March Student of the Month

Congratulations to OHS senior Sydney Shagrin who has been named the Kiwanis “SENIOR OF THE MONTH” for March 2021. 

Sydney is Vice-President of the Senior Class and a member of the Israeli Culture Club, OHS Spirit Club, and Key Club. While maintaining a 3.75 GPA, Sydney has devoted nearly 350 hours of service to various community organizations including Friendship Circle, Book Buddies, and the Orange Sports programs. She earned the Weinberg Award for her outstanding dedication for five consecutive years. A Varsity Letter winner and Captain of the Field Hockey team, Sydney has also lettered in Softball and was a counselor at Stagecrafters Summer Camp for three years. Every school year, the Kiwanis Club of Lander Circle recognizes six seniors for their leadership, integrity, and academic achievements.
