OHS Senior Morgan Shagrin Named Kiwanis Student of the Month!

Congratulations to OHS senior Morgan Shagrin who has been named the Kiwanis “SENIOR OF THE MONTH” for January 2021. Morgan is the captain of both the Varsity Field Hockey and Lacrosse teams, a Varsity cheerleader, and a member of the Spirit Club, Book Buddies, and the Student Government Association. She has served as Class President for the past three years. While maintaining a 3.97 GPA, the National Honors Society member has earned more than 328 volunteer hours for her service around the school and community. Morgan is actively involved in Friendship Circle, spending every Sunday afternoon assisting and enjoying time with children with various degrees of special needs, and has received the Weinberg Award for her service. She also worked as a Stagecrafters Youth Theatre Camp Counselor for two summers and is currently part of Excel TECC's Marketing Program. Every school year, the Kiwanis Club of Lander Circle recognizes six seniors for their leadership, integrity, and academic achievements. We thank the Kiwanis Club for its ongoing support and congratulate Morgan Shagrin as the January Kiwanis Senior of the Month!
