Parents: Remote Learning Plans

Dear Parents,
 

Recently Dr. Lynn Campbell, Superintendent, shared a Remote Learning Guide with all Orange families.  In this document, he provides information regarding the next phase of our district’s remote learning plan, which begins Monday, April 6, 2020.  Each school principal has been working with central office administrators and teacher leaders to develop plans to operationalize the district’s approach to remote learning.  These plans are included in each school’s update below:

Parent Update from Orange Inclusive Preschool

Parent Update from Moreland Hills Elementary School

  • Teachers will be evaluating student work assigned through Google Classroom for the 3rd-trimester report card.  

Parent Update from Brady Middle School

  • The end date of quarter 3 has been adjusted to reflect the last day students were in attendance (Thursday, March 12).  Quarter 3 report cards will be issued on Friday, April 17 via ProgressBook.

  • Starting Monday, April 6, students will begin to earn grades for quarter 4 by completing the work that teachers post in their Google Classroom.

Parent Update from Orange High School

  • Quarter 3 report cards will be issued on Tuesday, April 7 via ProgressBook.

  • Starting Monday, April 6, students will begin to earn grades for quarter 4 by completing the work that teachers post in their Google Classroom.

  • Senior Project will begin on Monday, April 27 and updated expectations and requirements will be communicated very soon.

 Reminder: Orange Schools will not be in session on Friday, April 10, 2020.
