Schools will be closed Mar 16 through Apr 3

Dear Orange Schools Families,

Per Governor DeWine’s afternoon mandate for an extended three-week “Spring Break” closure for all schools, the Orange Schools will be closed from March 16 through April 3. All activities, events, athletics, clubs, and field trips are cancelled and all facilities are closed during that time and until further notice.

We have been carefully following the developments surrounding the Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) as we keep in mind that the health and safety of our students, our families, and our community members are of the utmost importance. As you know, classes are cancelled for students tomorrow, Friday, March 13th so that all staff may prepare for the closure. Information regarding assignments and expectations during the break will be provided to all families by the students’ respective teachers. Please be sure to have your student check his/her email and Google Classrooms on a regular basis.

As additional information becomes available and decisions are made about classes and activities that will follow the break, we will provide it to you via our website, social media, email and phone calls where appropriate.
