Convocation Day 2019

Congratulations to our 2019 Kiwanis Club of Lander Circle Award Winners: Elementary Teacher of the Year Kim White, Staff Member of the Year Denise Edwards, High School Teacher of the Year Aaron Mayer, and Middle School Teacher of the Year Jeff Kapostasy. The winners were announced at the August 16th Convocation Day events with awards presented by Steve Smith, Kiwanis Foundation Director. This marks the 30th year of the annual awards. Family members were on hand to surprise the awardees. The event opened with a breakfast hosted by the PTAs and a performance by members of the 2019 Tune-In Chorus under the direction of Matt Parrotta and Kayla Hoye. We are all proud to be part of Team Orange and look forward to the school year ahead! Classes begin for Grades 1-5 and 9-12 on Monday (8/19) with BMS classes beginning on Tuesday (8/20). Have a great school year!
