Posted Date: 05/31/2022

Good luck to OHS Varsity Football Student-Athletes Babatunde Motoni, Shelton Smith, and Noah Klubnik who will represent the USA in Italy as members of the High School Elite All-Star Football Team from American Football Worldwide! They will be joined during spring break by high school players from around the country before heading to Rome, Vatican City, Tuscany, Sienna, Como, and Milan. The students will participate in extensive touring and educational adventures along with daily practices and a friendly football game against Italy's best 19 and under club football players. OHS Coach Ed Ralls was selected to join the students in this experience.

Fundraising for this trip began last fall with various raffles and through support of local groups including: Orange Boosters, Chuck and Stephanie Jarrett, the Orange Schools Foundation, Randy Lupi from AXA Financial, Lander Circle Kiwanis, Mayor Susan Renda of Moreland Hills, Chagrin Valley Chamber of Commerce, Chagrin Highlands Rotary Club, and Orange Alumni Association President John Sangdahl. Thanks to all involved for supporting this once in a lifetime opportunity for our students! American Football Worldwide is committed to providing growth experiences for its team members through positive values gained through competition and international travel experiences.
