Letter from Superintendent Regarding Safety Threat

Dear Orange Schools Community,

This afternoon, a bomb threat attempting to extort funds was emailed to school districts and businesses across the country including the Orange Schools. The Pepper Pike and Moreland Hills Police Departments were immediately notified and confirmed with the FBI that it has seen similar incidents nationwide and that it is a hoax.

At Orange Schools, we take all threats seriously. The police and the schools will continue to work with the FBI in trying to determine the origins of the threats.

Providing a safe learning environment for students and staff is very important to us. We will keep you informed should further information to share become available.
