Posted Date: 05/31/2022

The Orange City School District would like to officially welcome our new Superintendent of Schools, Dr. Lynn Campbell and give a big thank you to our outgoing interim Superintendent, Dr. Joffrey Jones!

Dr. Campbell begins his leadership tenure with the Orange Schools a month early with a July start date as interim superintendent. He will become permanent superintendent on August 1, 2018. He was hired by the Board of Education earlier this year for his leadership approach focused on quality instruction, relationship building and effective stakeholder communications. Dr. Campbell holds his Doctorate of Education from Youngstown State University. He earned both a Master of Education degree and a Bachelor of Science in Education from Kent State University.

Dr. Jones has served as the interim superintendent since January 1, 2018. He was the successor to former Superintendent Dr. Edwin Holland who retired on December 31, 2017. With more than 20 years experience as an educational leader, Dr. Jones’ mentorship, guidance and influence made a significant impact at Orange Schools as the District prepared its transition to its new superintendent.
