Dr. Sylvia Mustonen will present an historical perspective on drugs of abuse in America, information on how our community is presently impacted and what efforts are needed to move from opioid crisis to opioid control. Dr. Mustonen, the former director of the Drug Detox Unit at Northwest General Hospital in Detroit, will also provide several actions which individuals can take to combat opioid misuse and opioid abuse in our homes and communities. Attendees are invited to share their stories and opinions on this topic and participate in a general question and answer open session after the formal presentation. FREE EVENT BUT YOU MUST PRE-REGISTER
